If you want to build a system at an affordable price, this motherboard offers you the basic essentials at the lowest purchase cost. Currently, you can use all Ryzen 7000 and Ryzen 8000 processors, including the latest Ryzen 9000 series, with this motherboard.
The MSI PRO A620M-E motherboard comes with two DDR5 slots supporting up to 6800 MHz. We recommend using 16 + 16 GB DDR5 6000 MHz RAM. To keep the initial cost low, a single 16 GB module will be sufficient. Unlike DDR4, DDR5 RAM does not suffer from significant performance drops when used with a single module.
The motherboard features a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a graphics card and one PCIe Gen 4-supported M.2 SSD slot. The lack of a second M.2 slot is a drawback of this motherboard.
